I'm Going to Keep Talking About It

oh yeah, a couple more fun facts about the swank: there were twenty-five women (nicely done ladies).
and twenty-four out of 192 participants hailed from this county. go locals!
and the only racer who was younger than me? tristan.

  1. I think closer to 30 women started the race. BRA excludes DNFs from results. But, I am trying to blame a lackluster performance on some meaningless minutiae instead of the true issue (i.e. poor climbing fitness).

One thing is for certain: the PAC women crushed souls on the descents! I passed close to 20 different people on the descents and know for a fact that you other 3 ladies were ripping it up! (Never mind the fact that some of those people passed me on climbs.) Who knows how many people saw a Sycamore Cycles on a ladies' rear cruising by them...

No one younger than you could probably afford it. People my age and older have way more discretionary income. That, and the fact that more life experience tends to lead to more appreciation of things we don't have (or have as much of anymore). Most of the people who do ORAMM, PMBAR, the 100-milers, etc., are over the age of 27...and most of the women who are destroying souls are pushing 40+.

    Proud of you, Julia!
